Larry was a trucker for most of his life until he retired in 1988 from Yellow Freight Trucking. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing, and gave words of advice about those hobbies to his children and grandkids.
For many years he loved and enjoyed the cabin he built in Crosslake on Fawn Lake. He grew to love that area so much that him & Donna bought their home in Nisswa on Clark Lake. They lived there until 2012 with a move to a town home in Pequot Lakes. Their final move was in 2015 to Northern Lakes Senior Living in Baxter. He resided there until his death.
