Michael Flynn

Flynn, Michael E. age 69, of Crosslake passed away on July 16th, 2017. He fought a courageous two year battle with cancer. Mike served honorably in Vietnam in the late 1960’s. After having raised his children in Shoreview, he and wife Barb moved to a lake in Crosslake. Our family will dearly miss him driving us around the lake for a nightly cocktail cruise. He will forever be remembered as a lifelong Minnesota Vikings fan. Everyone in the family knew the Vikings were playing when the dog quickly hid in a bedroom before the yelling at the TV began. Mike worked tirelessly throughout his career. He was truly loved by family, friends, and coworkers and will be sorely missed.

Survived by loving wife Barb; sons Ryan (Nikki), Sean, and Dan; granddaughters Shannon and Raegan; sisters Ellen and Kathy; brother Tim; beloved dog Murphy. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org) or the American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org). A private family gathering is planned.
