William Oredson

William (Bill) P. Oredson, age 84, passed away in Pequot Lakes, Minnesota on April 10, 2019. Services for William will be 11:00AM, Monday, April 15, 2019 at Crosslake Evangelical Free Church (The Log Church) in Crosslake, MN. Visitation for family and friends will be one hour prior to the service.

Bill was born to Reuben and Freda (Nylen) Oredson in Minneapolis on September 24, 1934. In 1954 he married his high school sweetheart Patricia (Patty) Doll. He frequently remarked that he didn’t need to attend a class reunion because he already had the best thing to come out of Minneapolis South High - Patty! Bill was so very proud of his children Phillip, Sandra and Susan. In 1988 Bill and Patty retired to the lake where they enjoyed hosting their growing family. He loved music and enjoyed numerous concerts and recitals of his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Patricia, Children; Phillip (Karen) Oredson, Sandra (Joe) Payne and Susan (Tom) Chouinard, Grandchildren; Patty (Dan), Anders (Betsy), Betsy (Chris), Tom lll (Stacy), Bill (Jackie), Kjersten (Sean) and Erik (Shelby), Great-grandchildren; Madison, Lars, Finn, Mackenzie, Elise, Bianca, Tom lV, Theo, Ava and Violet, sister Ruth (Carl) Vaagenes and many other relatives and friends. Bill also leaves his beloved granddogs Bear, Ozzy, Bella, Brownie, Rusty, Toby, Prince, Luna, Maya, Bruce and Wayne.
