Vonnie Tatro

Vonnie Lee Tatro aka “Spud” 83  of Ironton went to be with the lord May 1st 2021.
Vonnie was born May 9th 1937 In Immogene, Mn to Harry Tatro and Amy (Adam’s) Tatro.
Vonnie was famously known as being the Mn Hitch Hiker as he traveled many places for many years. Vonnie loved the Colorado Mountains as he would rebuild abandoned buildings and make cabins for anyone to use. Empire Hilton Was His Favorite. As he Felt God There. Vonnie joined the Army National Guard in 1955 And transferred to the Us Air Force in 1956 completing a 4 year term with an honorable ranking as E3 Aircraft Mechanic.
Vonnie was a avid member of the Bible Baptist Church in Crosby, Mn
Preceded in death by his parents, Amy and Harry Tatro two sisters, Sondra Fay Tatro and Sandra Kay (Kimball),and wife Sharon.
A Memorial Service will be held Monday May 24 at the Woodland Cemetery in Ironton at 11 am.
A Memorial and luncheon to follow at the Bible Baptist Church in Crosby.
