Tom "The Breadman" Anderson

Tom Anderson “The Breadman”, 73, of Sauk Rapids, MN passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, after a 15 year battle with cancer, Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Sauk Rapids, MN. Mass of Christian Burial will be 12:00PM, Thursday, March 7, 2019 at Holy Family Parish with Fr. Ben Kociemba and Fr. Tim Baltes officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be two hours prior to the service at the church.

Tom was born February 23, 1946, the seventh of 14 children, to Vivien (Ike) and Anne (Welinski) Anderson in Little Falls, MN. He graduated from Little Falls High School in 1964. Tom worked for Pan-O-Gold for 40 years. He loved cooking, baking and growing roses. Tom enjoyed fishing and hunting. He had a great sense of humor and loved telling jokes. Tom was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Above everything else, family was the most important thing to Tom.

Tom is survived by his wife, Karen "Sweet Pea"; children, Colette Hoeschen of Twin Cities, Susette (Drew) Johnston of CA, Annette (Gareth) Oystryk of WA; step children, Lisa Johnson of Royalton, Jenny Johnson of St. Cloud; grandchildren, Calvin, Andrew, John, Isaiah, Carter, Gavin, Claire, William, Eleanor, Breanna, McKayla; siblings, Andy (Ruby) Anderson, Marie (Jerry) Trafas, Judi (Bob) Johnson, Carol (Pete) Mick, Peggy (LeRoy) Hoheisel, Bill (Georgia) Anderson, Lois (Marty) Weyers, Bruce (Kathy) Anderson, and Chris (Mary) Anderson. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Dorothy Wagner, Jack Anderson, Betty Paul, Ginny Anderson; and nephews, Brett Paul and Joe Anderson; great nephew, Kyle Kloss. In lieu of flowers, family requests memorials be sent to Coborns Cancer Center. Services have been entrusted to Brenny Family Funeral Chapel in Randall, MN.
