Sally Rettke

Sally Jean Rettke, age 42, of Brainerd died Saturday, October 19, 2019 in Brainerd.  Memorial services will be at 11AM on Friday, October 25, 2019 at Communitas Church (824 Laurel Street #1, Brainerd, MN 56401).  Visitation will be on hour prior to the services on Friday at the church in Brainerd.

Sally was born on August 18, 1977 in Brainerd to James Rettke and Debra Loveless.  She enjoyed coloring and being artistic; loved drinking coffee and catching up with family and friends.  Sally was a very social person, non-judgmental, and always brought a smile out in others.  She was free spirited and would have made a great Hippie.  Sally will always be remembered as funny, giggly, enjoyed telling jokes; she had a contagious laughter and an infectious smile.  When she loved she loved deeply and always cared for her family.  Sally was resilient and had a very big heart, that was just too big for this earth.  She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Sally is survived by her mother, Debra (Rick Jones) Rettke of Brainerd; father, James Rettke of Grand Forks, ND; children, Molly Franz of Fargo, ND, McKinzi Franz of Brainerd; siblings, Luke (Karen) Rettke of Brainerd, Adam Rettke of Brainerd, Sara Rettke of Ironton; long-time companion, Craig Lilly and many nieces, nephews and friends.  She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents.
