Pamela Lambrecht

May 10, 1958 — June 29, 2020

On Monday, June 29th, 2020, at the age of 62, Pamela Joy Lambrecht peacefully passed away in her rural home near Long Prairie, MN.

She was born on May 10th, 1958 in Whitefish, MT, to Jerome and Janet (Jensen) Maier. Jerome taught children whose parents served at Military bases overseas, so she also lived in Turkey, Morocco, and England. Although she lost her father in England in 1966, it is also where her mother Janet met and married Pam’s adoptive father Robert Adams, and where her sister Elisha was born. Soon after they moved to Long Prairie MN, where Pam and Elisha were raised.

In 1975, Pam married Roger Kilanowski, and they later divorced.  Pam married Redginald Lambrecht in 1986, and they made their home in Long Prairie, MN, where they raised their blended family, even though it was sometimes in chaos like ice and rocks in a blender! They both had children from previous relationships; Redg’s son Josh, Pam’s son Chris, her daughter Jenny, and a young son Taylor, who was later adopted by Redg. Together they had a daughter Keziah.

Pam always loved the outdoors as a child, and continued as an adult, as she enjoyed planting trees for the MN Forestry department for many years. Pam and Redg lived on an acreage outside of Long Prairie, where she spent a lot of her time maintaining an orchard and a large garden to support the family. The garden allowed her to contribute to the local farmer’s market, and she also had enjoyed working at “Everybody’s Market”.  Pam was good with numbers, and liked doing the accounting for some businesses in town, and also for the two businesses they ran as a family.  The Volvo business made it possible to have many family road trips across country, which was always an adventure!  She loved relaxing at Lake Charlotte; swimming had always been one of her favorite things to do after working outdoors.  Pam was an avid roller skater in her younger years, and liked a good game of cribbage.
Pam was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on December 21st, 1985, and was a member of the congregation in Little Falls, MN. She studied the Bible, and shared the hope that it gave her with others. She encouraged her children to form good habits, and would remind them to “remember Jehovah” each morning as they left for school.

In 1995 she began her long fight with brain cancer. Though she and Redg were able to raise their children and make the most of their lives, the negative effects of her sickness and treatments began to take their toll. For the last few years, Pam relied on the loving care that Redg provided. Her illness resulted in us missing Pam for many years now, and though saddened, we are relieved that her struggle is over.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Redginald; her children:  Christopher (Nicole) Kilanowski, of Owatonna, MN; Jennifer (Elmo) Beehler, of Onamia, MN; Taylor (Gretchen) Lambrecht, of Brookings, SD; Keziah (Daniel) Lakedon of Braham, MN; step-son Joshua (Heather) Lambrecht of Dewey, AZ; 9 grandchildren:  Lucas, Jimmy, Jacob, and Annika Kilanowski; Oakly and Saigley Beehler; Finola Lambrecht; Asher and Emmett Lakedon; her sister Elisha Adams of Sauk Centre, MN, and her children.

She is preceded in death by her father Jerome Maier, adoptive father Robert Adams, mother Janet Adams, and one infant grandson.

Pam's family will be hosting a Casual Open House at the Belle Prairie Park in Little Falls, MN July 25, 2020 from 2:00pm until 8:00pm. Due to Covid-19 only drinks will be provided, no food. Thank you for understanding.
