Milton Kuhlman

Milton ‘Curly’ R. Kuhlman, 92, of Baxter, formerly of Buffalo, MN passed away on November 26, 2021 in Baxter.

He was born on March 18, 1929 in Faribault, MN to Milton and Almeda (Middleton) Kuhlman. Milton was a proud Veteran of the US Navy, and served in World War II. He received the Victory Medal from the Navy for his service.

Milton married Evelyn Johnson on August 29, 1967 in Ely, MN. Together they had 3 children. He proudly retired from the City of Buffalo. Milton enjoyed volunteering in the community, and received recognition of a city park with a playground named ‘Curly Park’. He enjoyed spending time at Little Pine lake, cooking, fishing, gardening, and spending time with his family. Milton was also very proud of his 1957 Chevy Belaire Convertible.

He is survived by his daughter, Michele of Brainerd, MN, his son Michael of Buffalo, MN, a brother Charles, six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Milton is preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn, a son William ‘Billy’, and his parents.

A private burial will be held at a later date at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls, MN.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Baxter.
