Mary "Peggy" Van Lear

Mary Margaret "Peggy" VanLear, of East Gull Lake, passed away at home on Saturday, July 10, 2021. Private family services will be held.

An inspiring free spirit, Mom pursued a career in aviation, married her high school sweetheart, David Van Lear, returned to college to earn her BA degree, danced with reckless abandon, became an accomplished painter, all the while providing unconditional love to her husband and son, Michael. We are better men because of her presence in our lives.

Peggy’s sisters wish her Godspeed on her joyous journey into the arms of her loving grandmother and namesake.
