Margaret "Margie" Stuart

Margaret “Margie” Elizabeth Stuart, age 66, died Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.  A gathering of family and friends will be from 3:30PM until the time of sharing at 5PM on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel in Baxter.  A reception will follow services at the funeral home on Saturday.

Margie was born June 3, 1953 in Aitkin to Joseph and Denver (Ferguson) Norris.  She married Deon Stuart on August 31, 1985 at the Crow Wing Town Hall.  She worked at H.A.R.T. (Heartland Annual Rescue Team), and Bethany Good Samaritan Society – Bethany as a Home Health Aid.  Margie enjoyed knitting, crocheting, shopping, trips to the casino, and traveling especially to Missouri to visit family.  She also loved her grandchildren, animals, and camping at Rock Lake Campground in Pillager as a family.  Margie was loving, stubborn, and always stuck to her laurels.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Margie is survived by her husband of 34 years, Deon; daughters, Breanna Peglow, Denver (Rick) Boser; nephews, Joey (Marrianne) Derosier, John (Kyra Shephard) Norris; grandchildren, Alyssa, Samuel, Naomi, and Savanah.  She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Joe Norris and Patty Smith; and infant sister.
