Gwendolynne Rand

Gwendolynne Elizabeth Rand (Anderson, formerly Marana), died on April 30, 2020 at St. Joseph’s Medical Center. A funeral service will be held at St. Francis Catholic Church at 11:00AM, Wednesday, June 3, 2020. Interment will be at St. Therese Little Flower Cemetery in Onamia. Visitation will be the night prior, Tuesday, June 2, 2020 from 4-7:00 PM at Brenny Family Funeral Chapel in Baxter.

Gwendolynne Elizabeth Rand was born to John Leavitt Anderson and Marjorie West on August 20, 1947. She grew up in Minnetonka and attended boarding school at House In The Pines, Norton, Massachusetts, attended the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, and received an Associated Degree at Central Lakes College in Child Development. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grand/great grandchildren, art, singing in church choir, gardening, an loved animals.

She is survived by her sister Tracy Jennings, children Gwendolyn Kosevich, Leavitt, Quinn, Shea, Megan Lauer, Marcello, Kieran, Alonzo, and Alexander Marana. She has 19 grandchildren, 1 step-grandchild, and 1 step great-grandchild and another great grandchild on the way.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Leavitt and Marjorie Anderson, brother Sprauge, unborn child Alexander Marana, and grandson Brett Marana.
