George Page

George James Page, 77, of Pillager, passed away on Thursday, November 18, 2021, at Lakewood Health Systems. Funeral services will be at 11 AM on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Staples, MN. Visitation will take place one hour prior to services. Interment will be at Evergreen Hill in Staples.

George was born on May 17, 1944, to George Allyn and Pauline (Weishalla) Page. He lived at Krushe Residential in Pillager, MN for over 20 years. Prior to that he lived in Fergus Falls, and he also spent some time in Brainerd. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his sister Diane (Walter) Hreno; nieces Debra Hanson (Jack and Luke), and Patti Farmakes (David and Kyle); nephew David (Kristin) Hreno (Carter and Madison); great-aunt Mabel Page; several cousins, and special friends Amy Borgstrom and Wendy Albertson. George was preceded in death by his parents.

A special appreciation to the Krushe staff for the many years of taking care of George. Also, a special thank you to hospital staff and the clinic for the wonderful care over the years, especially his last stay.
