Chris Bean

Chris Bean, 36, passed away suddenly at St Joseph’s Medical Center in Brainerd on Thursday September 30, 2021.

He was born in Richfield and moved to Brainerd in 1996.

He met the love of his life, Kelsey Beutz in 2004. They married in 2011, and reside in Baxter.

Chris was an avid deer hunter, fisherman, and golfer. He enjoyed fresh saltwater fishing every year in Fort Myers, Florida. He also enjoyed golfing and gardening, and was exquisite at cooking gourmet meals.

Chris was the proud owner of QSum Medical Supply.

Chris is survived by his wife, Kelsey, of Baxter, his parents Rick and Diana(Ocel) Bean, his brother Mike Bean(Charolette) of Baxter, his sister Alicia Graham(Nate) of Burnsville,  grandparents John and Diane Ocel, and grandparents Wayne and Candy Bean, mother and father in-law Mary and Dave Beutz of Pillager, sister in-law Emily Beutz of Pillager, niece and nephew Bradlee and Emilee Bean, and his favorite dogs, Addie and Nellie.

Chris is preceded in death by uncles, Mark Ocel and Greg Ocel, grandparents William and Elizabeth Linquist, grandmother Carol Maass, and great grandmother, Magda Ocel.

There will be a visitation at the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel in Baxter, Minnesota on Thursday October 7th from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.  Funeral services will be on Friday October 8, 2021 at the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel in Baxter, Minnesota at 10:00am, with a visitation at 9:00am. There will be lunch and fellowship to follow.  Burial will be at Gull River Cemetery in Pillager, after lunch. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Wild & Free Rehabilitation Organization-PO Box 241, Garrison MN 56450 or to the Gull River Cemetery Association-12916 11th Ave SW, Brainerd MN 56401.
