Beverly Tweed

The angels took Beverly Ruth Tweed on March 23, 2019. Beverly was born in Grand Forks, BC on April 25, 1926. In 1944, she met a handsome sailor named Harris Tweed, married him and moved to Minnesota. Beverly and Harris raised six children in Pequot Lakes, MN. Harris and Bev enjoyed going for long rides in the country with many stops at the Dairy Queen. Beverly was active at St Alice’s Catholic Church. Beverly liked to bake and was famous for her chocolate cakes. Beverly was preceded in death by Harris, her husband of 49 years, daughter Patty Dunlap, son Terry Tweed, grandson Jeremy Brunes, son-in-law David Bjorklund, brothers Jack and Harold Ferguson, 4 brother-in-laws and 4 sister-in-laws. Beverly will be missed by her surviving children, Kathleen (Tim) Withers, David Tweed, Marcia Tweed and Laura Bjorklund, many grandchildren and sister-in-law, Vonnie Tweed. Bev will also be missed by her beloved kitties, Alvin and Bunny. A memorial service will held on May 8 at 11AM at St Alice’s Church in Pequot Lakes
