Xavier Slyke

Xavier Charles Raphael Van Slyke, 8-day-old-son of Adam and Tonya Van Slyke, of Baxter, died Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 29, 2017 at All Saints Catholic Church in Brainerd. Father Tony Wroblewski will officiate. Family and friends are invited to gather one hour prior to services. Interment will be at Epiphany Catholic Cemetery in Coon Rapids on Monday, May 1, at 11 AM.

Xavier is loved and will be missed by his parents, Adam and Tonya; siblings, Natasha, Isaac, Michael, Alexander, and Violet; grandparents, David and Catherine Turner, of Lino Lakes, Vicki and Edward Brendemuhl, of Gulf Shores, AL, and John and Kellie Van Slyke, of Ham Lake; great-grandmother, Marion Westrum, of Minneapolis; seven aunts and uncles, and five cousins. He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Jerome and Joyce Weingarten, Wayne and LaVonne Turner, Fred and Erma Van Slyke, and Tom Westrum and cousin, Derek Lendosky.
