Wayne Johnson, age 80, of Staples, passed away Thursday, August 21, 2008, in LaCrosse, WI. He was born June 3, 1928 in Fillmore County, MN, to Bennett and Lela Johnson.
He is survived by his sons: John Johnson and James Johnson both of Staples, Jack Johnson of Nisswa; daughter, Jane Goeden of Wadena; brother, LaVerne Johnson (Mildred) of Mabel, MN; sister, Shirley Ellestad of Spring Grove, MN; sister-in-law, Irma Johnson of Mabel, MN; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Dale and wife, Erika.
Private family services will be held.
