Services will be 11 AM on Friday, May 4 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Pine River with Father Bruce Engen officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 8 PM at Kline Funeral Home, Pine River, and one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.

Walter is survived by his wife, Sandy of Pine River; sons: Allen and James of Pine River; grandson, James of Pine River; brothers: Donald of Blaine and Raymond of Garrison; sisters: Sandy Zitzman of Shoreview, Dorothy Queen of Mankato, Darlene Rodell of St. Peter and Florence Barnes of Mankato.
