Virginia “Ginny” Ann Guldberg, 80, passed away at her home in Baxter, MN, on July 23, 2025.
Ginny was born on January 5, 1945 in Roseau, MN, to Haakon and Alma (Christianson) Wold. She graduated from Badger High School in 1963. She married Gordon Torgerson and had a daughter, Tracey. They moved to Minneapolis and later divorced.
As a single parent she worked various jobs but found her niche in sales. She later started her own company, Act IV Printing, and was a highly successful business owner. She had a good work ethic and taught us to work hard from an early age.
She married Glenn Guldberg and the two of them loved their blended family dearly. She loved her bonus sons as her own.
Ginny had a passion for gardening and always said how therapeutic it was to work with her flowers. She was also an avid reader and loved discussing and sharing her books. Ginny and Glenn loved to go out and dance and have fun with friends. They had several lake homes; she loved the water and loved it when the kids and grandkids came to visit. She made sure we always had a fun time. She was the queen of snacks and always made sure we had meat and cheese, shrimp, and other tasty treats at the cabin and on the pontoon.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her in-laws, sister and brother-in-law Arlys and Dick Bessler, brother and sister-in-law Harlan and Julie Wold, brother-in-law James Dahl, and brother-in-law Jack Guldberg.
