Virgil Alexander, age 86, of Backus, passed away Monday, July 27, 2009, at his home. He was born March 8, 1923, in Robbinsdale, MN, to Virgil and Gertie Alexander.
Virgil is survived by his brothers: Louis of Waconia, MN, Peter of Pine River, Roy of Waconia, and Earl of Backus.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Glen.
A graveside service will be held 1 PM on Sunday, June 6, at the Pine Ridge Cemetery, Pine River. Arrangements are with Kline Funeral Home, Pine River.
