Timothy Loose

Timothy W. Loose of Northern Itasca County, MN, brought a full and adventurous life to a close surrounded by his family on November 1, 2018. Tim was born June 16, 1955 to Edward and Judith Loose in Anderson, IN.

Tim dedicated his life to adventuring outdoors and his career to drawing others into a deeper understanding and appreciation of the world around us. As a Wildlife Biologist, Tim started several nationally recognized Friends Groups through the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service. He was a passionate and dedicated Wildlife Refuge Manager. Tim loved to teach others about nature and was a gifted outdoorsman, spending many of his early years working summers at the Northern Wisconsin National Canoe Base.

Tim is preceded in death by his father, Edward Loose. He is survived by his two children, Jacob (Saki) Loose of Japan and Rachael (Chad) Biggar of Minnesota; along with his two grandsons, Raymond Biggar and Liam Loose. He is also survived by his mother, Judith Loose; and brother, Jim Loose of Indiana; along with his brother, David (ReAnn) Loose of Arizona.

There will not be a public memorial service at this time. We hope you will honor Tim as we will by living a life as fully as he did.
