Timothy Condiff

Timothy D. Condiff, 49, of Baxter, died on Friday, June 10, 2011 at Crosby Care Center after a courageous battle with brain cancer. Funeral Services for Tim will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2011 at 11:00AM at Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Baxter with Pastor Erika Nilsen officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00-11:00 AM at the church before services. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Tim was born on April 10, 1962 in Brainerd, Minnesota to Donald and Mary Jane (Davis) Condiff. Tim graduated from Brainerd High School and then attended Vo. Tech for two years. On June 5, 1993 he married Debra Akotchik and they made their home in Brainerd. Tim worked his "dream" job for over four years as a mechanic for Crow Wing County Highway Department. He loved to hunt, fish, ride four wheelers, and make model rockets with his children. Tim loved his grandchildren very much and enjoyed it when they would curl up with him in his big chair and fall asleep in his arms. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and his hard work.

Tim was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Jane. He is lovingly survived by his wife of 18 years, Deb; children, Nicholas, Andrew, Amanda, Shawn, and Krista; his father, Donald (Tooty) Condiff; granddaughters, Autumn, Jailyn, and Jaycee; sisters, Cheryl (Dale) Anderson, Patti (Neal) Nelson; brother, Terry (Christie) Peters; mother-in-law, Ellen Akotchik; and many nieces and nephews.
