Thyra Peterson of Pine River, passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2009, at the Whispering Pines Good Samaritan Center, Pine River. She was born April 4, 1912, to Frank and Helma Peterson, in Bungo Township on the family farm where she grew up.
Thyra is survived by her brother, Russell Peterson (Sue), and her sister, Vera Sidney (Ed).
She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, William, Thure, Stanley, Rudolph and Martin.
According to her wishes, no services were held.
