Thomas Henry Drewicke was born on November 27, 1977. He passed away in his home on October 24, 2016. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, October 29, 2016, at 10:30 AM, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Graceville. Tom was a member of the Holy Rosary Church of Graceville where he was baptized in December, 1977 and confirmed on March 26, 1995. He graduated from Clinton-Graceville High School in 1996. He attended Northland Community College in Thief River Falls and graduated with an AA degree in Mass Communications. His lifetime ambition was to be a radio announcer or D.J. He worked for KMRS-KKOK radio after his graduation from college. He also worked at the U of M Morris campus radio station. He then worked at the Sisseton radio station 102.9 on weekends. He then moved to the Fargo-Moorhead area and had a variety of jobs. Tom's first love was radio announcing and he decided to go back to school for his 4 year degree in Media Communications at MSUM. Tom always loved music. Since a young age he loved to sing and he was in all the high school musicals at Clinton-Graceville High School. He also loved to make mixed tapes for family and friends. He had thousands of CD's with a variety of music. He also loved trivia and knew many facts about music and movies. He loved art and graphic novels. While growing up Tom belonged to the Mystery Science 3000 Fan Club. He attended many conventions and had many great memories. He was able to share his love with of Mystery Science 3000 with his sister Annette. He also had a love for Weird Al and Dr. Demento. Tom belonged to the Valley Corcon. He shared his love of movies with a very special group of friends. He recently went to Crypiticon in the Twin Cities which he attended yearly. Tom loved to be around other people and make them smile. He always had a smile on his face and a joke ready to be told. He also was always willing to help anyone that was in need. He was a true gentleman.
He is survived by his Mother Diane Christeson, stepfather, Larry Christeson of Graceville. Siblings: Annette (Jason) Thompson of Fargo, Jill (Kevin) Johnsrud of Graceville, and Matt (Renee) Drewicke of Herman. He had 5 Neices: Shelby, Cassie, Jenna, Toria and Emily and 3 Nephews: DJ, James and Jacob. Grandmother Ann Hovdestad of Fargo and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He is proceeded in death by his Father James Drewicke, Grandparents, Nellie and Henry Drewicke and Robert Hovdestad and special uncle Don Drewicke.
Tom will be deeply missed by many.
