Theresa M. Ray

Theresa Madonna Ray, “Donna,” our beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother, 86, of Walker, MN, passed away on March 20, 2026 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Park Rapids, MN. Born December 2, 1939, in Benson, MN, she moved to Minneapolis in 1957, married Arland in 1960, and together they had six children. In 1976 she married Arthur Ray, and together they had three children.

Donna was a devoted Catholic who prayed the rosary and Chaplet of Divine Mercy daily. She cherished time with family, loved a good garage sale, crossword puzzles, and reading, and there was always a pot of coffee on with an offer to pour you a cup.

She is survived by her children, Jeff Gullickson, Jill (Larry) Larson, Jamie Caughey, Joel Gullickson, Jorie (James) Lindner, Jean Hale, Mary (Tim) McCarthy, Jane Ray, and Preston Ray, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and siblings, Katherine McGuire, Pat (Alfred) Arends, Judy Robertson, Jim (Vicki) Manley, Jr., Jack (Judy) Manley, Rita (Chuck) Stellmach, Jean (Brad) Ellingson, and Lois (Rick) Skaalrud, and brother-in-law, David Ray. Preceded in death by her parents James and Arlene; husbands Arthur (1999) and Arland (2015); grandchildren Aiden, Joshua, Emmy, and Elizabeth; and siblings Marlene and Carol.
