Theresa Barrett-Rohl

Theresa Barrett-Rohl, age 59 ,of Crosby, MN, passed away peacefully surrounded by love after her courageous five year long battle with cancer. She will be remembered for her boundless generosity, creativity, and the joy she brought to everyone whose lives she touched.

Theresa had a deep love for the natural beauty of Minnesota’s North Shore, where waterfalls and winding streams brought her peace and inspiration. Her heart and hands were always busy creating—through crafting, sewing, and especially quilting. Many of her quilts were given as gifts, stitched with care and warmth, and donated to countless people. Each piece reflected her spirit of kindness and her desire to bring comfort to others.

One of her greatest joys was sharing motorcycle rides with her husband Roy, where the open road offered adventure and togetherness. These rides, like her life, were filled with a sense of freedom, companionship, and love.

Theresa’s caring nature and giving heart left a mark on all who knew her. She was the kind of person who quietly made the world brighter through acts of kindness both big and small. Her laughter, her creativity, and her generosity will be deeply missed, yet forever cherished in memory.

Therea is survived by her husband Roy and preceded in death by her parents, David and Kathryn Barrett.

She leaves behind a legacy of love, stitched into the hearts of her family, friends, and community. Theresa will be missed beyond measure, but her spirit will continue to live on in every quilt, every memory, and every life she touched.

A service will be held to honor Theresa's life at the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel in Baxter, MN on Saturday, October 11th at 4pm with a visitation starting at 3pm.
