Thelma Bradfield

Thelma Bradfield, age 91, of Pine River, passed away Sunday, September 6, 2009 at Whispering Pines Good Samaritan Center, Pine River. She was born June 1, 1918, in Alexandria, MN, to John and Florence Brewer.

Thelma, along with her second husband, L.M. Bradfield, owned and operated Bradfield's V Store in Pine River. She served as a senior companion in the Pine River area for over 20 years and was awarded Most Outstanding Senior Companion for Northern Minnesota.

Thelma is survived by her children: Gary Spencer of Houston, TX, Gene Bradfield (Katie) of Neeneh, WI, Betty Rittersdorf (Jim) of Grand Rapids, MI; and grandchildren, Judd, Kay and Rich.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Elmer W. Spencer and L.M. Bradfield, and daughter, Bonnie Rezanka.

Services will be 11 AM on Saturday, September 12 at Kline Funeral Home, Pine River. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Pine River.
