Susan Elaine Bock

Susan Elaine "Sue" Bock, age 74, passed away peacefully at her home in Crosby, Minnesota, on July 29, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

Sue was born on August 9, 1951, in Brainerd, Minnesota, to Chester Doboshinski and Marion Carter. She grew up in Brainerd, where she later married Gary L. Bock. Together they built a life centered on faith and family and were blessed with five children.

In 1975, Sue and Gary moved to the west metro area, making their home in Edina and several surrounding communities. In 2004, she returned to the Brainerd Lakes Area, where she lived in Baxter until 2025 before moving to Crosby.

Sue found her greatest joy in being a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She cherished time spent with her family and will be remembered for her quiet strength, caring heart, and the love she freely gave to those around her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary L. Bock; her parents, Chester Doboshinski and Marion Carter; and all those who welcomed her into eternal peace.

Sue is lovingly remembered by her children, Matthew (Becky) Bock, James (Diane) Bock, Luke (Tracey) Bock, Kristine Bock, and Sarah (Brian) Roth; her grandchildren, Brittany (Seth) Schmidt, Alex Bock, William Bock, Kimberly Bock, Joshua Bock, Andrew Roth, Savannah Roth, Tyler Roth, Madyson (Ethan) Bock, Bradley Bock, and Patrick Bock; her eight great-grandchildren; along with many extended family members and dear friends who will miss her greatly.

Funeral service will be at 2pm at the Brainerd Kingdom Hall on Friday, September 11, 2026, 12048 Butternut Road Brainerd, MN 56401. And a Celebration of life will take place from 1-3pm on Saturday, September 12, 2026 at the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Baxter.
