Steve Malecka

Steven Douglas Malecka, born on February 24, 1953, in Minneapolis, MN, passed away on February 21, 2026.

Steven graduated from Bloomington-Lincoln Sr. High School in 1971 and went on to attend school as a plumbing apprentice from 1978-1982. Steven would later earn the title of Master Plumber in 2004, of which he was very proud. He later retired to Pine River, MN to live on his dream property with his wife, Nancy.

Steven is survived by his wife, Nancy (Godfrey) Malecka; son, Christopher (Joanie) Malecka; grandchildren, Peyton, Connor, Brayden, and Hadley; sisters, Mary and Debra Malecka; and sister-in-law, Karen Malecka Vanasse.

Steven is preceded in death by his parents, George and Loretta (Svoboda) Malecka, and brother, Philip Malecka.

Arrangements are entrusted to Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Pine River.
