Stephen Clark Sipper (Bud) 88 years old of Crosby, MN passed away peacefully at home on Monday, August 17, 2026.
Steve was born to Lillian and Stephen Sipper and was one of 14 children.
He lived in the Crosby area and has enjoyed spending winters in Lake Havasu City, AZ for the past 30 years.
As a young man, Steve served 2 years in the U.S. Army overseas. Upon his return, he worked on the iron ore boats that sailed the Great Lakes. He made his career as a Fireman and paramedic working as an Edina Firefighter (number 23) for the city of Edina, MN.
Steve loved the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, skiing, snowmobiling, hiking and biking. He enjoyed cooking for his family and friends and was a master of sausage making.
Steve is survived by his loving wife of 34 years Cindy (Chadwick) Sipper, two daughters, Debbra (Dan) Carroll and Susan (Jim) Rossman, four grandsons; Stephen (Emily) Carroll, Samuel (Allison) Carroll, James Rossman, Charles Rossman and Great Granddaughter, Hannah Carroll. Steve is also survived by his siblings: Jean, Ray, Sandra, Jimmy and Kay and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life and memorial service will be held at Heartwood Senior Center in Crosby, MN on Saturday, September 5, 2026, from 11:00-2:00. Visitation starts at 11:00 with a prayer service at 11:30 and Reception and lunch follow.
