Ssang Sim

Ssang Sim, age 92, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2005, at home in Breezy Point. She was loved dearly and will be missed by all who knew her. Funeral service will be held on Monday, December 19, at Crosslake Lutheran Church with Reverend Mark Anderson officiating; visitation at 10:00 am, service at 11:00 am, with lunch to follow.
She was born on May 27, 1913, in Gosung, South Korea and was preceded in death by her husband, five children, one brother, and one sister. She moved to the United States in 1976 to live with her daughter and son-in-law, Sun and Dan Beavers, of Breezy Point.

She is survived by her daughter, Sun (Dan) Beavers; her sons, Chuck Shin and Han Shin, both of Los Angeles, CA; her five grandchildren, Charlie (Traci) Beavers, Lisa (Bill) Doerr, Shari Beavers, Chuckie Beavers, and Young Bok Shin; and five great-grandchildren, Haylie and Mariah Beavers, and Hannah, Skylar, and Logan Doerr: her sister, Bok Nim Sim of Gosung, South Korea.
