Shirley Hovey

Shirley Hovey, 85, of Pine River, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2026.

Her passion and love for Jesus, family, and friends were the foundation of her life and an example to all who knew and loved her. Our hearts are heavy with her passing, but we find comfort and joy in knowing that she is now pain-free and in Heaven with her lifelong guide and Savior, Jesus.

Shirley is survived by her beloved husband, Leo; her son, Jonathan (Trudi); her daughter, Megan (Ted); and her grandchildren, Rylee and Finneas. She is also survived by her sisters, Charlene, Sharon (Tim), Judy (Tom), and Evonne (Dave).

Shirley leaves behind a beautiful legacy of faith, love, family, and friendship that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

A celebration of Shirley’s wonderful life and the many cherished times shared with her will be held at Riverview church in Pine River. Details will be announced at a later date.
