Sherman Schmidt

Sherman Schmidt, age 92, of Pequot Lakes, passed away on Monday, August 26, 2019, at Essentia St. Josephs Medical Center, Brainerd. He was born in Pequot Lakes on August 17, 1927, to August and Thea Schmidt. Sherman served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was a member of Pequot Lakes Baptist Church.

Sherman is survived by his son, Mike Schmidt, and grandchildren Sarah E. Schmidt and Jeremy M. Schmidt. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Shirley; daughter, Sharon Schmidt; son, Gary Schmidt; and his brothers and sisters.

A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, September 18 at the Pequot Lakes Cemetery.
