Sean Bird

Sean Bird, 56, of Pine River, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on June 28, 2026.

Sean was born on February 28, 1970, to George and Leedra in Peoria, Illinois.

He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Leedra, and brother, Bruce.

He is survived by his wife, Diane; children, Timothy (Danielle), Anna (Nick), and Austin; grandchildren, Michael, Paisley, Elijah, Ezekiel, Jessika, Jade, Judah, and Jozie; brothers, Shane of Sedro-Wooley, Washington, and Schad of Tuscola, Illinois; many nieces and nephews as well as his best buddy, his cat, Kiki.

Sean was an over the road truck driver for many years of his life. He worked for Simonson Lumber for a number of years as a boom truck operator. For the last several years he was a plant manager for Northern Star Cooperative. He was a natural at customer service and was passionate about his role.

Sean had the gift of gab and would talk with anyone; he loved to listen to stories and tell his own. He enjoyed gardening and loved to go plant shopping to add new life to the gardens. Sean also enjoyed fishing, motorcycle racing, boating, and always had projects in mind to start or finish.

Services will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Pine River. A visitation will be held the hour prior to the service with interment at the Pine Ridge Cemetery. Sean’s family asks for you to join them for food and stories after the interment.
