Scotty Vargo

Scotty Lynn Vargo, born on July 17, 1962, to Frank and Irene (Dibble) Vargo, passed away peacefully at his home on June 6, 2024, with his children by his side.

Scotty enjoyed hunting, fishing, feeding the birds, tending to his plants, and collecting agates. Scotty had a quick wit with a great sense of humor and could always make you laugh. He was a loving father and grandfather and loved spending time with his family and friends at the farm.

Scotty is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Irene Vargo. He is survived by his children, Jared (Erin) Vargo, Courtney Vargo (Chad Espeland), and Corey Vargo (Jolene Young); grandchildren, Ejatu, Tallen, Triston, Cora, Adrian, Oliver, Soma, and Taryn; 4 sisters and 2 brothers, Gloria Benzie, Vicki (Bruce) Heuer, Dale (Connie) Vargo, Kevin (Wendy) Vargo, Tamara Malan (Matt Pelphrey), and Missy Vargo; and other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at his home, 8439 29^th Ave SW, Pequot Lakes, MN, on June 22, 2024. The service will be 3PM-5PM with a luncheon.
