Sandy Wegleitner

Sandra Wegleitner, 80, of Crosslake, passed away on February 12, 2025. 

A gathering of friends and family will be held from 12pm-3pm on June 21, 2025, at Maucieri’s Italian Bistro, 34650 Co. Rd. 3 Crosslake MN 56442

Sandy was born on October 24, 1944, to Joseph “Russ” and Geraldine (Schwartz) Huston in St. Paul. She married Martin Wegleitner on January 19, 1968.

Sandy found joy in cooking and sharing a meal with family and friends. She had a love for flowers and living at the lake. She spent time going to horse shows and had a joy of driving old muscle cars. Above all else, she loved her family and friends and always getting together to socialize.

Sandy is survived by her husband, Marty; children, James Gudvangen, Kelly Damon Harwell (Scott Harwell), Michael Wegleitner; grandchildren, Dominique Wegleitner, James Rivers, Jasmine Rivers, Mitchell Damon, Macie Damon; siblings, Kathleen “Ticky” (Dennis) Quinlan, Michael Huston; nieces; nephews; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph “Russ” and Geraldine.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Crosslake.
