Sandra Simon

Sandra Marie Simon of Pequot Lakes, and formerly of Delano Minnesota, passed away on April 1, 2026. She was born on September 3, 1964, in Watertown Minnesota to Raymond and Beverly Speckel. Sandy was baptized, confirmed and married at Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Delano Minnesota. She was the third generation to be married there. She graduated from Delano High School in 1983.

Prior to graduating she worked at the local nursing home, and Crow River Bank. After graduating she continued working at the Crow River Bank, and had a few other jobs. After moving to Pequot Lakes, she worked almost 15 years at Boyd Lodge in Crosslake. Sandy really enjoyed interacting with people, and loved seeing the children coming to the lodge and how much they grew from the year before.

Sandy loved life to the fullest, riding snowmobile (and beating the boys with her machine) riding motorcycle, skiing our west, water skiing and just watching sunsets. She was great at decorating her home in condo in Florida. Her main love was her family and friends. She was always there for anyone that needed help.

Preceded in death by the love of her life and husband Cliff, her fur baby CoCo, her grandparents Herb and Fran Bock, Leslie and Florence Speckel, two very special uncles and cousin.

Survived by her parents Ray and Bev Speckel, brother Randy, her fur baby Lola, aunts, cousins and many friends.
