Sandra Olson

Sandra Marie Olson, age 55, of Fergus Falls, formerly of Brainerd, MN, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday November 1, 2025 in Fergus Falls.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel in Baxter, MN.

Sandra was born on April 3, 1970, in Brainerd, MN, to Judy (Crawford) and Ronald Olson. She spent her life caring for others, both personally and professionally. She worked as a caregiver at a group home in Fergus Falls and previously at Lake Region Hospital, where she built many lasting friendships with her coworkers.

Sandra had a gentle, giving heart and a smile that could light up any room. She loved simple pleasures — tending to her garden, taking peaceful walks, spending time by the lake, and listening to her favorite music. She loved the Minnesota Vikings. But more than anything, Sandra loved her family. Her daughters were her pride and joy, and becoming a grandmother brought her endless happiness. Her grandkids meant the world to her, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Jess (Matt) Lachowitzer of Fargo and Alyssa (Derek) Jennen of Moorhead; her grandchildren Everly Hed, Elliana Hed, Leon Jennen, Vera Jennen, and Margot Jennen; her mother Judy Olson; her brothers Rick (Kris) Olson and Randy (Bella and Spencer) Olson; her nephew Luke Olson (Brenna Cooper and Archer); and her loyal fur babies, who were always by her side.

Sandra was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Olson.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her kindness, her laughter, and the love she shared so freely with everyone around her. Her love will continue to live on through those she touched.
