Samuel Alcock

August 31, 1999 — May 28, 2023

Fargo

Samuel Earl Alcock, age 23, of Fargo, ND, formerly of Merrifield, died on May 28. He was born on August 31, 1999, to Brad and Kari (Hagen) Alcock.

Sam worked for an airline in Fargo after high school. He was able to travel to many states and Japan. He and a friend could hop on a plane and fly to Chicago for lunch and fly home again. One morning in the middle of a blizzard, while working at the Duluth airport, he picked up all of his co-workers to get everyone to work by 3:30am. He loved his Chevy truck.

He recently worked for Marvin Windows and enjoyed the work culture and his co-workers.

Sam was very outgoing and charismatic. He was logical and truthful – he told it like it is. He enjoyed spending his time working out and hanging out with friends. He achieved his goal of 100 Solidcore classes. Sam loved being around people. He did not hesitate to help others, whether it was a friend or someone he did not know; he gladly pulled many trucks out of the snow last winter. Did we mention he loved his truck?

Sam and his sister enjoyed tailgating with Uncle Kent at NDSU Bison football games. Sam and Sara played (bean) bags and were the team to beat.

Sam is survived by his parents; sister Sara; Grandmas Irene Hagen and Elaine Alcock; aunts and uncles, Kristi and Mark Anderson, Kent Hagen, Keith Alcock and Natasha Warner, Dean and Lynn Alcock, Kdep Heng; cousins, Matthew and Talia Anderson (Runa, Noah), Michaela Anderson, Kennedy Hagen, Raksmey Heng, Meaktra and Linda Heng, Seda Heng, Kourtni Alcock, Ben Jensen, Abby Alcock, Ethan Alcock; Godparents Tim and Beth Schalow.

He was preceded in death by Grandpas Earl Alcock and Jerome Hagen.

Services will be held at 3pm on Sunday, June 4, at Crosslake Lutheran Church with a visitation from 1pm-3pm.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Baxter.
