Rosella Guido

Rosella (Rhodie) Guido, age 88, passed on November 21, 2022 at Golden Horizons care

center. She was comfortable, at peace, and had many family members nearby. Many thanks

to all her friends and family who have supported her life’s journey.

                Rhodie was born in Chicago, Illinois, in 1934, one of four children. She moved with her

family, at the age of 5, to St. Paul following the untimely death of her father in 1939. She then

moved to Minneapolis for school, and then proudly to work at the Bell Telephone company on

the assembly line with her mother, Betty.

She married Gerald Lindahl in 1952 and started their family in the suburbs of

Bloomington. The family moved north to Emily in the summer of 1968. They raised six children

in the beautiful lakes area: Roseanne, Ted, Joel (deceased), Melaine, Jon and Jerry.

Travelling south to Silver City, New Mexico, in 1981, she enjoyed family and life in the

southern mountains. Rhodie moved to the Albuquerque area in 1984 and had many wonderful

adventures! She married Sal Guido in 2001, and lived in Roswell and also Albuquerque until

2020. She then took her final road trip north as her health began to fail, so she could be near

family in Crosslake, Minnesota.

A talented artist, she enjoyed painting, sketching, gardening, music and especially

dancing. She was also very proud of her Irish heritage. Nothing made her happier than seeing

her children, grandchildren, great-grands, and great-greats-grands!

She is survived by 5 children, 15 grands, 19 great-grands and 3 great-great grands, as

well as many more beloved friends, caregivers, and family. We are sure there is music and

dancing in heaven xoxoxox!
