Roger John

Roger E. John of Crosslake, passed away peacefully at his home, with his family by his side. Mass and Christian Burial will be held Friday June 5, 2020 at Immaculate Heart Catholic Church at 11:00am in Crosslake. Friends and family are invited for one hour before. Interment will be at Pinewood Cemetery, Crosslake.

Roger was born in Long Prairie, MN on November 22, 1953 to Marcella and Ervin John. Roger was a man of many words and a man of many talents. He was a problem solver, a builder, a master craftsman, a mechanic, an inventor, an engineer, a woodworker, a great father, and a damn good farter. Roger was a man who deeply loved his family and had an open-door policy for any and everyone. He will forever be loved and missed.

He is survived by his son, Trevor (Erin) and their 3 children - Damon, Savannah and Lila. Son, Tyler (GiGi), Daughter, Jenna and her daughter Aubrey; and seven siblings. He was preceded in death by parents and two siblings.
