Rodney Mecklenberg

Services will be 2 PM on Wednesday, August 29 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Backus, with Pastor Ronald Carnicom officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 to 8 PM at Kline Funeral Home, Pine River, and one hour prior to the service at the church.

Rodney is survived by his wife of 54 years, Carrie Ann; five children: Steve Mecklenberg of Pine River, Laurie Furney (Mel) of Pine River, Dave Mecklenberg of Pine River, Mike Mecklenberg (Shelly) of Pine River, Lisa Jackson (Scott) of Helena, MT; grandchildren: Tracy Ecker, John and Krista Furney, Caitlyn and Josh Mecklenberg, Anja and Rane Jackson; great grandchildren, Easton and Kailor Ecker; siblings: Demaris Coleman (Sam) of Elbow Lake, MN, Curt Mecklenberg (Marie) of Clitherall, MN, Sandy Haarstad (Harlan) of Elbow Lake, Bob Mecklenberg of Jamestown, ND; brother-in-law, Gordon Bjugan of Alexandria, MN.
