Robert Noskowiak

Robert (Bob) Noskowiak, age 79, of Backus, Minnesota passed away at his home on Monday, March 30, 2026. Bob was born on July 24, 1946, in Antigo, Wisconsin, to Mable (Lenzner) and Louis Noskowiak.

Bob attended St. John's Catholic Grade School and graduated from Antigo High School. Following graduation, he proudly served in the United States Air Force.

Bob spent many years in the St. Cloud area before eventually moving to Backus, Minnesota with his partner, Barb, where they lived on the shores of Ponto Lake. He really enjoyed his retirement job as a driving instructor with the high school students – many fun stories to tell.

Bob is survived by his life partner, Barb Melville; his son Paul (Amanda); his daughter, Julie (John) Dussliere and five grandchildren. He is also survived by sisters Roseanne (Pat) and Cheryl; two brothers William (Mary) and Charles.

He was proceeded in death by his parents; his sister Mary Jane and his brother Jim.

A Memorial Service will be held on April 18, 2026 at 11:30am at Bradley Funeral Home in Antigo, Wisconsin. Visitation take place from 9:30am until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Queen of Peace Cemetery in Antigo.

A Celebration of Life will be held this summer, with a date to be determined.
