Robert Mesenbrink

Robert Mesenbrink was born March 16^th 1939 in Benson MN, to Paul and Irene Mesenbrink.  He passed away peacefully March 19, 2024, in Crosslake MN.

On March 24, 1962 he married his high school sweetheart Barbara Koosman.

They started their life together in Minneapolis for a time before moving to Boise ID, returning to Minnesota in 1979, first living in Eden Prairie then settling in Rochester in 1981.  In 2014, they moved and retired to Crosslake MN, to be near son Brad and his family.

Bob enjoyed watching his grandkids at their sporting events and hunting and fishing alongside them. Bob and Barb also loved taking their motor home to the grandkids sporting events and to Leech Lake for fishing.

He will be missed by his children Brad (Rebecca) Mesenbrink of Crosslake, Dan (Teresa) Mesenbrink of Oakdale and Kristy (Kelly) McGee of Rochester.  Grandchildren Austin and Dylan Mesenbrink, Kyle (Stacy) and Amanda Mesenbrink, James (Abbie) McGee, Brandon (Alex) McGee. Great grandchildren Carson, Vaeda and Everlie McGee.

Survived by brother Virgil Mesenbrink and sister Karen (Virgil) Wendt, along with many nieces and nephews.  He was proceeded in death by his wife Barbara and sister Rachel Quiram.

Funeral Services will be held April 27^th, 2024 at Mt Olive Lutheran Church Rochester, MN.

Visitation from 10am until time of service at 11:00.

Burial will take place at the columbarium at Mt Olive.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Family Funeral Chapel Crosslake
