Gilman

Robert Wayne Beauchamp Sr., age 87, of Gilman, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2026, at the St. Cloud VA Health Care System.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 10, 2026, at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Gilman. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the Mass at the church, and also the night prior July 9 from 4-7 pm at Saints Peter and Paul. Interment with military honors will follow at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls, Minnesota.

Robert was born on January 23, 1939, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to Harold and Cora (Carlson) Beauchamp. He graduated from St. Cloud Tech High School and continued his education to become a skilled machinist. Robert proudly served his country in the United States Army for two years before receiving an honorable discharge.

On July 3, 1965, Robert married the love of his life, RaeAnn Lentner, at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Gilman. Together they made their home on a farm just outside of Gilman. Robert dedicated more than 40 years to Ickler Company in St. Cloud, where he worked as a machinist. A true perfectionist, he took great pride in caring for his home and farm, and his work at Ickler, always striving to keep everything in impeccable condition.

He found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Robert enjoyed fishing, bowling, playing cards, listening to polka music, cooking—especially grilling and homemade coffee cakes—and spending time working on the farm. His faith was an important part of his life, and he served for many years as a lector at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, birdwatching, photography, and woodworking.

Robert is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, RaeAnn; his children, Rob (Rose) Beauchamp, Russell (Juanita) Beauchamp, Ryan (Jane) Beauchamp, and Renee (Tim) Thell; his grandchildren, Kayla, Jacqualynn, Sophia, Emma, Spencer, Branson, Brooke, Justin, and Trista; his sister-in-law, Marvil Beauchamp; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Cora Beauchamp; his infant daughter, Roberta; and his brother, John Beauchamp.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and staff at the St. Cloud VA Health Care System for the compassionate care, kindness, and support they provided to Robert throughout his journey. Arrangements have been entrusted with the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Baxter.
