Richard Vasquez

Richard Vasquez, 72, of Brainerd, passed away Thursday, January 13, 2011 at Bethany Good Samaritan Village. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 22, 2011 at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter with Bill Carr officiating. Family and friends are invited to gather one hour prior.

Richard was born January 13, 1939, in Blue Earth, MN, the son of Herman and Lillian (Winters) Vasquez. In 1968, he was united in marriage to Linda South. He worked in healthcare for over 20 years as a Cardio Pulmonary Profusionist. He was a fan of all spectator sports.

Richard will be missed by his wife, Linda; children, Rick, Sherry, Brent, Holly, Garritt, Morgan, and Natalie; sisters, Margaret and Gloria; brothers, Jerry and Lloyd; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Chris; his parents; and his sister, Lucille Iverson.
