Richard A. McLain

Richard Alan McLain, 72, of Crosby, MN passed away peacefully on June 18, 2023, at the St. Cloud VA Hospital.

Rick was born to Charles and Virginia McLain in Minneapolis on November 20, 1950. He enlisted in the United State Navy, and was stationed in Kodiak, AK for 2 years.

He was a very skilled and talented craftsman. He could imagine, build, or fix anything. Rick was kind and gentle-hearted. He loved his daughters and his black labs. He was known for his pie baking skills at Thanksgiving time and was always there to lend a helping hand or to move anything someone needed help with.

Rick is survived by his daughters: Carly McLain and Christy Ball: his grandchildren: Maxwell, Roman, and Summer, his siblings: Judy Semsch, Scott McLain, Bob McLain, and Patty Hilburn: and his lifelong friend Howard.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and siblings Geri Lee Chapman and Jimmy McLain.
