Richard Autey

Richard Autey, age 73, of Pequot Lakes, passed away Sunday, July 24, 2011, at his home, surrounded by his entire loving family. He was born March 17, 1938, in Minneapolis, to Roland and Ethel Autey.

Richard served unselfishly for 20 years as the world's kindest caregiver to the residents of the Good Samaritan Society Pine River.

Richard is survived by his wife, Penny; children: Richard Autey, Jr. (Mary), Julie Schewe (Greg), Lorena "Peanut" Klassen (Marv Lattin), Robert Benhardus (Caroline), Christopher Benhardus (Jenna); brother, Theodore Autey (Joy); sister, Diane Carlson; former spouse, Sharon Autey; many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, two great grandchildren and special pet dog, Bailey.

He was preceded in death by his parents, stepfather, Ralph Lee, brother, Don, nephews and one niece.

Services will be 11 AM on Thursday, July 28, at Kline Funeral Home, Pequot Lakes. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
