Richard Arones

Richard Arones, age 87, of Pine River, MN, passed away on March 5, 2026, in Duluth, MN.

Dick loved hunting, old cars, sailing on Lake Superior, downhill skiing, traveling, spending time with his beautiful family, and the wonderful years at his retirement home on Lake Ada.

He is survived by the love of his life, Ingrid; two children, son, Bret (Donna) and daughter, Lani (Jeff); five awesome grandchildren, Jennifer (Dave), Krystal (Aaron), Savannah (Joe), Corey, and Britta (Luke); and four great-grandchildren, Carson, Austin, Harper, and Hazel. Richard also had many other loving family members and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Al and Alice; sisters, Joyce and Barb; and great-grandson, Jett.

A celebration of life will be held from 1PM – 4PM on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at the Pine River American Legion Post #613.
