Polly A. Lundeen, age 96, of Breezy Point, MN, died June 6, 2017, at Northern Lakes Senior Living Memory Care. Polly was born May 25, 1921, in Pine River, MN, daughter of the late William M. and Ola Sue (Grinols) Olson and was one of 9 children.
Polly graduated from Hopkins High School in 1939 and married Ted Glock that same year. They had two children, Marilynn and Kenne. Ted was a pilot and was killed in WWII shortly after their son was born in 1944. She married Ken Pederson in 1946 and they had two sons, Ted and Michael. Later in life, she married Eric Lundeen in 1973 and they moved to a lovely country home in Mora, MN. Eric died in 1980. Soon after that, Polly went back to work at Dandelion Floral and Gifts where she made so many good friends and could work with the plants and flowers she so loved. She retired in 2006 at age 85 and moved to Breezy Point, MN, to be closer to family. She made many dear friends at Breezy Point and especially enjoyed the Garden Club and going to CURVES. She entered Northern Lakes Senior Living Memory Care in July of 2016. Polly never lost her big smile or sense of humor in spite of many challenges and she will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
