Phyllis A. Duval passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on March 4, 2026.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Friday, March 20, 2026, at Immaculate Heart Catholic Church in Crosslake. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow at Pinewood Cemetery.
Phyllis was born on September 17, 1965, in Edina, Minnesota, to Robert and Elizabeth (Wohlers) Siefert. She grew up grounded in faith and family, values that shaped the way she lived her life.
On October 17, 1987, Phyllis was united in marriage to Douglas Duval at Nativity of Mary Catholic Church. Together, they began their life in Bloomington before moving in 1996 to Pequot Lakes, Minnesota, where they planted roots and built both a home and a business.
In Pequot Lakes, Phyllis and Doug founded their HVAC company, Arctic Air Heating and Air Conditioning. Phyllis was truly the backbone of the business. She managed the bookkeeping and handled the responsibilities of ownership, and every now and then would even strap on a tool belt to lend a hand working on units. Her dedication, work ethic, and steady presence were instrumental to the company’s success.
Outside of work, Phyllis found joy in the outdoors. She loved fishing, spending time out on the boat, hunting, and tending to her garden. Nature brought her peace, and she cherished the simple, beautiful moments spent outside. Above all, Phyllis loved her family. She was a devoted wife, a proud mother, and a cherished grandmother.
Phyllis is survived by her beloved spouse, Douglas; her children, Jason (Raeanne), Matthew (Megan), and Steven (Erin); her grandchildren, Griffin, Elliott, Lawson, and Charli; her mother, Elizabeth Siefert; her siblings, Mike (Wendy) Siefert, Karen (Darrin) Gilbertson, and Donald (Jessica) Siefert; her mother-in-law, Rose Marie Duval; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Siefert, and her father-in-law, Arcade Duval.
